Conditions was mixed weat...Three day trip finished. Conditions was mixed weather wise and my wet weather gear got a good workout on all 3 days but in the middle day it really lashed down all day with little or no respite.<br /><br />Water was still pretty clear although not gin clear plus plenty of debris as you can imagine.<br /><br />Fishing was best on first day which was also the warmest day with least rain. % fish on first day with biggest one between 4 and 5lb. A real hefty fish that seemed to be struggling a bit as it had no more fight than your average 2lb fish. It fell to a size 16 GRHE...<br /><br />I had 4 on 2nd day and 3 of these on a nymph and only 2 on 3rd day.<br /><br /> I had to put plenty of effort into pulling most of these fish off the bottom as they seemed welded to the spot.<br /><br />Fish with only one exception which was a bit skinny were in good condition.
